This week, we’re excited to announce that NMS.com is now actively using some of the new Social Plugins launched by Facebook last month at the F8 Developers Conference. From now on, at the bottom of every NMS blog post (and soon, every page on the NMS website) you’ll see a little “Like” button from Facebook, allowing you to Like the post and share it back on your profile with your friends.
You’ll also be able to see, if you’re logged in to Facebook at the time, which of your friends have also liked the same post.
At NMS, we’ve been watching the new developments coming out of Facebook very closely, and we’re excited about the potential of some of these tools to help people better interact with each other online. At the same time, we’re also well aware of the privacy concerns many individuals have and are planning to follow up soon with another post about the latest updates in Facebook privacy settings, which have just been announced by Facebook today.
But in the meantime, as we inform our brands and clients about the new social plugins available for Facebook, we’re testing them out ourselves on NMS.com. Let us know what you think about them!
