Our second decade of operations has started off with a pretty big bang. At NMS, we've had a slew of new business wins including being named the Social Media Agency of Record for Chrysler and all of their brands while also onboarding a ton of new talent and continuing to grow Our Team of rockstars.
While we value the past ten years and have built a culture rich with traditions, we thought it would be fitting to begin a new year and our second decade with a bit of a fresh take and something equally as new. So, we're moving...urls that is.
Starting today you can now find us at NMS.com. Yep, we're going BIG by going small. Now, while we've dropped 15 characters, don't think for a second we're downsizing. Quite the opposite. In fact, as a company we've grown by 15 percent since January 1, 2010! We're also thinking big with our ideas, our innovations and with where we think our industry (and consumer behavior) is going as mobile plays an increasingly significant role in Social Media and Social Media Marketing.
This isn't some sort of a Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC or Federal Express to FEDEX name change or rebranding, we'll always be known as New Media Strategies. However, for those of you who really know us, we are more often affectionately referred to as simply "NMS," so we're equally excited to embrace that in our online presence as well as to lose one ridiculously cumbersome url, let alone email address. Besides, isn't short and sweet (or make that concise and precise...thank you, twitter and 140 character limits) what communications in our industry is all about?
We are excited about this switch and think it comes at the most opportune time. Just two months ago, we celebrated 10 years of incredible clients and wonderful team members while we simultaneously looked to the future and our next Decade of Dominance. We are embracing 2010 with clear eyes, full hearts and a bullish eye on future growth.
