How many TV shows or movies have you “liked” on Facebook? How many times have you retweeted a friend or celebrity’s tweet? It’s so simple: just one click and the world knows you’re a fan. What if a click of your mouse could save a child’s life? Could social media sites like Facebook and Twitter really have found a way to help cure cancer? Well, Penn State students certainly think so.

We Are…A Bit Speechless

We Are...a bit speechless. The media has been exploding with the news of Jerry Sandusky and the Penn State administration. As a graduate of Penn State, not only do I see the story being reported on the news every time I pass a television, but all of my social media accounts have been downright chaotic. I can’t remember the last time my Twitter feed has updated this frequently. And then there’s the insanity that is my Facebook newsfeed.
