Associate Strategist, Strategy and Insights

As a member of the Strategy & Insights team, Nisha leverages her experience in online media to support various clients throughout NMS’ core practices. Her work focuses on strategic consulting for clients, sales pitch support, and new product development.  Prior to joining NMS, she worked in business development for a nonprofit international exchange organization. In addition, Nisha has written for several political blogs and publications, and her work has been featured in The American Prospect, Ms. Magazine, NPR.org and WashingtonPost.com. She is an editor of CitizenJanePolitics.com, a nonpartisan blog for women to follow politics, where she reported on the 2008 presidential elections. She also contributes coverage on politics and political media for Mediaite.com and AOL’s Lemondrop.com.

Nisha is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where she studied political science, Middle Eastern studies, and Arabic. Outside of work, she loves international travel, books, bad reality television, and exploring the great city of Washington, DC. In addition to being passionate about social media, she is also a media and politics junkie and is often found writing about these topics on her blog, Politicoholic.
