Moira oversees New Media Strategies’ Entertainment Practice, which designs and executes strategic, results-driven social media campaigns for leading Film, Television, Gaming and Sports clients.
In 2009, NMS’ film clients garnered 36 Oscar nominations and 10 Oscar wins (including Best Picture The Hurt Locker), 16 #1 box office openings and over $1 billion in opening weekend box office receipts. NMS also supports USA Network, which topped all cable competitors in both the 2009 and 2008 ratings race, and NBC, the #1 network online in traffic, visits per month, total time spent and time spent per visit.
During her five-year tenure at NMS, Moira has personally managed NMS’ relationship with top television networks, including NBC, USA and ABC Family. She is a keen strategist and enthusiastic social media consumer, eagerly following industry developments and integrating these trends into each project she oversees.
Prior to joining NMS, Moira was a Senior Account Executive at LaForce + Stevens in New York. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Loyola University in Maryland and an M.A. in Music Business from New York University.
