Since joining NMS in 2000 as Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development, Aaron has helped NMS lead the way in social media marketing and measurement.
In his role, Aaron has guided top organizations and brands, helping them understand social media and how they can maximize these platforms to deliver their marketing messages to online consumers.
Aaron’s early relationships with the Democratic National Committee, Disney and Sony, helped lay the foundation for NMS’ industry leading practices in Public Affairs, Entertainment and Corporate. Aaron has also facilitated the launch of NMS’ Word of Mouth services and programs in several international markets.
In addition, Aaron helped develop NMS’ methodology for tracking and measuring word of mouth which are now norms used across the industry.
Over the years, Aaron has been instrumental in generating long term client relationships in over forty industries for NMS. Under Aaron’s guidance, NMS has forged relationships with many Fortune 500 corporations, including leaders in finance, beverage and quick-service restaurant industries as well as several leading film studios, television networks, and video game publishers.
He has also helped develop relationships with some of the largest trade/industry associations and political organizations and has spoken about social media at a variety of industry events (including Digital Hollywood).
Prior to NMS, Aaron served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense earning the prestigious Secretary of Defense “Award for Outstanding Achievement.”
Aaron was involved in the Clinton-Gore 1996 re-election campaign and has extensive political experience. Aaron graduated from Hamilton College, and lives in New York City with his wife Franceska and son Augustin.
